F4wrestling.com Update
- As expected, spoilers for last Saturday's WCW taping have been released to the Internet. No real shockers, there. The big shocker came this morning to several of the web sites that released the spoiler information over the weekend in the form of a cease and desist letter. And we're being completely serious. Dave Scherer has removed the results and announced that he was not only given a cease and desist letter from a live, in-person lawyer, but also was met by a police officer with a warrant to search his computer. Dave reported that he gave up away the contact information on who sent him the original e-mail with the spoilers and it would appear officials will be tracking that person down. So, basically, as we said on Saturday - unless WCW officials intend to make it a legal issue, the spoilers will not be stopped. And they're making it a legal issue. A big one. Many of the web sites that posted the spoilers have removed them. I don't know about if all of them have received cease and desists (I'm guessing if they haven't, they will). The only two major sites that didn't reveal spoiler information (and we did receive some) were ours and the Torch.
- In a related-note, per our agreement with WCW officials we'll have, as guests, on the radio show two WCW employees this month. On Friday we'll have an interview with WCW events promoter Gary Juster and in two weeks we'll have an interview with WCW booker Dave Lagana.
- Lots of rumors running rampant about how Kurt Angle's arrest will effect his position in the company, but nothing concrete.
