It is with a heavy heart that we must report that Mark Smith, better known as Bison Smith and was currently 1/2 of WCW Tag Team champion team of DOOMSDAY with Takeshi Morishima, has passed away. In the short time that WCW has been in business, Smith was an integral part of the promotion. Due to the sudden nature of his passing, WCW will not be airing Underground in it's usual timeslot this week. The show will be released on Saturday, to allow us time to develop a special Bison Smith Memorial Show. On Saturday you will be able to watch all of his major matches, as well as the last match he had filmed for WCW. Smith was true competitor, performer, and friend. He will be missed.
