F4wrestling.com Update

WCW held a press conference today with several big announcements. We'll give you the full details in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, but for now here is a quick rundown:

- Scott Coker, former owner of Strikeforce, was introduced as one of the principal owners.
- Jim Ross was introduced as another of the principal owners, in addition to being the Director of Talent.
- Jim Ross introduced Tyler Black, Jon Moxley, Richie Steamboat, and Windham Rotunda.
- Scott Coker introduced Paul Heyman as the Executive Director.
- Paul Heyman introduced David Lagana as the Head Booker, calling him "WCW's Joe Silva."
- David Lagana announced three new matches for Starrcade: The Cross vs. Fastball Special in a Tables Match, The Briscoes and JML vs. Three Kings, and Davey Richards vs. Chris Hero.
- Chris Jericho spoke about the future of pro wrestling.
- Alberto Dos Caras talked about being champion of the greatest pool of talent in pro wrestling. He and Jericho then had a confrontation.
- Scott Coker then made the big announcement: WCW has purchased the entire WCW video library from WWE.
