Chris Jericho successfully defended the WCW Championship at a Pro Wrestling NOAH show in Japan today in front of 700 people. Jericho defeated Ricky Marvin in the title defense. DOOMSDAY successfully defend the WCW Tag Team Championship as well, defeating the team of Taiji Ishimori & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi. WCW is going to use these defenses as the logic behind calling their championships "World" titles from now on. Chris Jericho will team with DOOMSDAY for six-man action on tomorrow's card.
