Tonight will feature the final appearance of Jim Ross (for now) on WWE Monday Night RAW. Earlier today Ross signed a contract with WCW to serve as "Head of Personnel." He'll likely function in the role of scouting, hiring, and firing talent. He'll probably also, at some point, do commentary for major events. Jim Ross has been with WWE on and off for almost 20 years. Even during the time frames when he was not obligated to WWE, he never worked for another company. Jim Ross was recently brought back as a part of storyline where Triple H, as COO, re-hired Ross. Since his return he has mainly been background noise to the primary commentary team of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler.
