WCW Underground 2.03
- Previously on WCW: New superstars have been introduced to the WCW fans. Stars include: Windham Rotunda, Richie Steamboat, The Patriot, and The Midnight Guns.
- Standard video opening.
- Lenny Leonard and JML are on the commentary stage. Leonard says tonight we'll be introduced to another new star as well as get a response to Eddie Edwards' challenge from Drew Gallows. JML hypes the main event, which is Chris Jericho vs. Jay Briscoe for the WCW Championship. Leonard says Jim Ross has a huge announcement regarding some surprise entrants for the Bunkhouse Stampede in the Event Center.
Match #1: The Bravados vs. The Old School Wrecking Crew
The OSWC is Adam Pearce and Steve Corino, having aligned themselves after poor showings in the singles division. They actually come off like Arn Anderson/Tully Blanchard here, taking an arm and working it over with little sympathy. They even no-sell some Bravados-offense for good measure. After some heel-shenanigans, the OSWC get the win following a spiked piledriver.
Result: The Old School Wrecking Crew win via pin w/ The Spiked Piledriver
Time: 5:11
- PROMO TIME~! Corino says that Adam came to him and it was like a beam of light through the rain. He had a tough 2011, but with Adam Pearce as his tag team partner, everyone else is going to have a tough 2012. Pearce says that there are times in a man's life when he has to double-down on everything he has because there's nothing else he can do. He says he and Corino have double-downed and the people who are going to pay are the people in their way. He says we live in a time with guys flying around the ring like Paul London and El Generico, guys wrestling barefoot like the Necro Butcher, and guys like Davey Richards being called the future of pro wrestling. He says there was once a time when a man was judge not by how high he could fly or how athletically gifted he was in the ring, a man was judged by just how badly he could beat his opponent. He says that he and Corino don't fly and that they're two old as hell men, but when it comes to taking care of business in the ring? They would wreck anyone in their way.

- Back from break and CM Punk is at ringside with Drew Gallows. Punk says that the two MMA-idiots have overstepped their boundaries by getting involved with Punk and Gallows. Punk says he's in the Stampede match and he's aiming to rid the world of everyone's favorite MMA-midget. Gallows says he'll face Edwards at the Stampede and it'll be the biggest mistake Edwards has ever made. Well, Punk's a good promo anyway.
Match #2: Drew Gallows vs. Lee Roy
You don't seriously need me to explain this to you, do you? Big boot, power bomb, pin.
Result: Drew Gallows wins via pin w/ a power bomb
Time: 0:20
- Gallows power bombs Lee Roy a few more times to send a message, I suppose.
- Chris Jericho comes to the stage for a promo. He and Punk have a stare-down, before Punk leaves. That could be a fun program. Jericho says that tonight he defends his championship against Jay Briscoe, who's coming off a huge win at Starrcade over the Three Kings. He acknowledges that Briscoe is the kind of guy who wouldn't be given a shot in other promotions for not having the right look, but here tonight he'll be getting the opportunity of a life-time. Jericho then talks about Dos Caras and says that at some point or another, the time will come for these two to go at it one last time and Jericho can't wait for that. Leonard asks if Jericho will be giving a title match to Davey Richards, to which Jericho replies: "He'll get his shot at some point."
- Another commercial for WCW Legacy. Tons of old WCW clips in it, which I believe infers it might be some type of programming using the WCW video library.

Match #3: Cru Jones vs. Chris Masterson
Way to stretch on that name. Masterson is, of course, the former Chris Masters from WWE. He developed into quite the worker in his latter days with the promotion. He's playing a heel here, doing the Narcissistic character he had in WWE. He uses tons of power-based moves, but his timing is almost impeccable. He does a lot of stuff to draw the crowd in with his heel antics. At one point he counters a leapfrog with a Rick Steiner-like power-slam. He finishes Jones off with the full-nelson, called the "Torture Lock" by JML.
Result: Chris Masterson wins via submission w/ The Torture Lock (full-nelson)
Time: 4:11
The Event Center
Jim Ross starts this week's event center by announcing five new contestants for The Bunkhouse Stampede: Brent Albright, Chris Masterson, and The Patriot. He says the next two entrants are not WCW-signed wrestlers and will be making a trip across the Pacific to prove themselves on American soil. They are: GIANT BERNARD AND KARL ANDERSON~! BAD INTENTIONS~! We get a huge video package dedicated to them with clips of stuff from Japan, showing off some of their moves and what not. When it's finished, there's a short promo from them. Bernard says that nothing good will come of them being in the Bunkhouse Stampede because they have bad intentions. Erm. Well they'll still be awesome regardless. Next up, Jim Ross shows a clip of Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards doing a training camp with KURT ANGLE~! In side video, Angle says he's kind of enjoying a peaceful life and the fact that he's still involved by helping train Eddie and Davey. Big flag behind him, just FYI. I'm telling you, he's The Patriot! Jim Ross says he'll announce five new competitors for the Bunkhouse Stampede as well as have a sit-down interview with Austin Aries.

Match #4: Brent Albright vs. Caleb Konley
Albright tosses Konley around the ring with a few suplexes. He gets incredibly violent with a few stomps in the corner, hinting a heel turn I guess. Leonard acknowledges that Albright is being a little more "ferocious" than normal. Albright locks in the Crowbar and Konley taps. Albright has to be separated from Konley by the referee, ultimately.
Result: Brent Albright wins via submission w/ The Crowbar
Time: 4:11
- PROMO TIME~! Albright says he's getting a little pissed with his record on PPV. He says he's lost two matches on PPV in a row and that it has to change. Albright says he plans to turn everything around by winning the Bunkhouse Stampede and challenging the WCW Champion that very night. JML questions that logic and Albright gets heated with him, calling him an "asshole" for doubting him before walking off.

Main Event: Jay Briscoe vs. Chris Jericho [c] - WCW Championship Match
Alberto Dos Caras joins the commentary team. Jericho and Briscoe kick the match off with a test of strength, which Jay wins surprisingly. They chain-wrestle a bit, trading holds and what not. JML puts Jay over huge, here, commenting that while a lot of people know Jay as a great tag wrestler and a tough-as-nails badass, he's also a fantastic mat-wrestler. Jericho ends up with control first via a well-timed flying elbow shot. Jay ends up on the outside and Jericho flies out onto him. Jay counters an Irish whip into the guardrail with one of his own. From there Jay works the back of Chris Jericho like a hoss. Jay works in a lot of backbreaker-like offense, including a nice backbreaker onto the ring apron, a la Roderick Strong. Jericho gets a bunch of near-falls, but Briscoe continues to come out on top until a nicely time enzuiguri by Jericho. Jericho hits Jay with all manner of big moves (superplex, missile dropkick, etc.) but Jay keeps kicking out. JML puts over Jay's fighting spirit. Jericho goes for the Codebreaker, but Jay counters and nails a big boot out of nowhere. They trade punches with Jay getting the upperhand, until Jericho slings Jay into the ring post. Jay stumbles out into the Codebreaker and Jericho follows up with a Lionsault for the pin-fall. Fun main event!
Result: Chris Jerichos wins via pin w/ The Lionsault
Time: 14:11
- Post-match, Chris Jericho and Alberto Dos Caras exchange unpleasantries to end the show.
