The Moment You've Been Waiting For
In the annals of pro-wrestilng history, March 31 has always been a special day regardless of the year. It was on March 31, 1985, in New York City at the vaunted Madison Square Garden that wrestling was changed forever with the advent of Wrestlemania. In 1989, a man who would be the cornerstone for WCW in the 90s won his first singles championship in the home of WCW today - Atlanta, GA. That man was Sting. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels battled for one hour in 1996 on the night that Shawn Michaels first won the WWF Championship. In 2008, a legend of the sport said "Goodbye" as Ric Flair officially retired from active competition.
And in 2012, wrestling history will be made again. For the first time ever, you will be able to watch pro-wrestling for the 21st century LIVE on NATIONAL TELEVISION! This is not a joke. This is not an error. World Championship Wrestling will be broadcast live across the nation on March 31, 2012! After months of negotiations, WCW will broadcast a one-hour special at 9:00 PM EST/6:00 PM PT LIVE on FOX! Fox: the home of American Idol, Family Guy, and Glee!
We will have more information on this in the weeks to come! Stay tuned!
